The ARCOOP was started by David Thulman, Michael Faught, and Lynette Norr. Their intent was to offer a broad range of potentials for research into the past, whether it be on land or underwater. Their interests were decidedly Western Hemisphere. Camila Tobon and Ryan Pendleton were consulted during the development of the corporation and they were added as board members to facilitate expansion of the ARCOOp footprint and impact. Currently Thulman is President, Norr is Secretary, and Faught is Treasurer.
